Beloved sandwiches, pasta, and antipasti from our daily board.
Delin Sambu Deli was founded by Marco and Lucia Sambu, who emigrated from Naples in 1998 and dreamed of opening a deli that tasted like home. After a decade working in Chicago kitchens, they opened their Taylor Street shop in 2008 with a simple mission: serve honest Italian food made from the best ingredients available.
Today, their son Antonio runs the deli alongside a team of twelve, but the recipes remain unchanged — Lucia's marinara, Marco's bread formula, and the same warm welcome that has kept neighbors coming back for nearly two decades.
